Fix for Connection Issue (ConnectStats 3.2.1)

So I have a way to get the app to work again. It required a few tweaks, but I can only get it working if I do two login in a row. This is utterly bizarre and sub optimal, but I am giving up at this point trying to do better. I’ll push this version to the store so that people can get a working version as soon as possible. Maybe I’ll figure out a better way later.

I have a lot of other pending fixes and features that I was planning to release along with iOS 10. Because these other changes include iOS 10 specific code, I can’t include them in this release, so this is really a very small patch that only addresses the login issue. I will release the rest shortly after when iOS 10 is available.

Cross finger the API is not going to change again soon…

  1. I did not know about the the current situation so in desperation I deleted the app so I could try and reinstall and hopefully the reinstall would fix it. Only to go to the App Store and find that the app is not available. I admire your dedication and I love the app. Take all the time you need. I presume it will be up in the App Store as soon as the issue is fixed. I’ll purchase it again if I have to.

    Is it available in Canada?
    I have upgraded the iOS today and can’t find the app… 🙁

  3. Thank you so much for your erfforts. As software developer i know how hard it is if one depend on the constantly changing APIs of 3rd party products. I love your amazing app and sport makes much more fun with analyzing possibilities of your app.

  5. Looks like it is a general problem with the App Store location, unless you are in US. I am from Denmark and have the same problem with the app is not avalible.

  6. It’s not a store location. I have submitted it to Apple, but it can take a few days for them to approve it and make it available to the App Store. It will then be globally available automatically

  7. ❤️❤️❤️ this app and like Mark I thought something I was doing or had done was the problem so I deleted the app yesterday in hopes of just reinstalling and reconnecting😁
    I anxiously await the Apple Store making it available so we can all get back to our Connect Stats app love! It is my FAVORITE way to consolidate my workouts and view my stats generally or specifically!

  9. Hi I purchased your excellent app, and loved it until the above issue, before discovering this blog, I deleted the app, thinking that redownloading it would rectify the issue. Please email me a wraparound to the beta app pending Apple’s approval.

  10. I really miss the fantastic ConnectStat app since It stoppad working with Garmin Connect due to their update. Hope you find a solution. All the best from a longtime user.

  11. Just a remark : the color scheme is not consistent between between running and cycling : when you run the fastest pace is light blue, and the slowest in brown, but it the opposite in cycling

  12. I’m having the same issue in the US App Store. I still have the app on my phone, although it isn’t working, but 3.2.1 isn’t available on the App Store. Good luck with the solution. This is a great app and I really get a lot from it. Thanks a keep up the good work.

  13. I am sorry, somehow Apple still hasn’t approved the new version. This usually takes a day or so recently, but it has been 2 days now. That’s why people don’t see it on the store. We have to wait for apple. Sorry about that

  14. I thought it was something I was doing to cause the error! I’m happy it wasn’t me but sorry to hear of your situation. I love this app but take your time with the fix. I work in IT so know these things can be challenging.

  15. I’ve downloaded the App. It says my login is incorrect and I am very frustrated because it won’t do anything.
